Here are some random fun facts about the various episodes!
- In "Four Corners" Carter is
looking at a portrait of himself and his brother when
they were young. The part of the portrait that is
Carter was taken from a real life picture of Noah Wyle.
- In the live broadcast of 1997, "Ambush", the baseball game that George Clooney's character is watching in the break room was the Cubs-Astros game, also being broadcast live that night on WGN.
- *Corrected* Contrary to rumors, Carol's coffee spilling scene in "Ambush" was scripted. Check out the script
- There is an episode in season 8 where Rachel is watching a late night movie, and Mark comes down. She is watching Return of the Killer Tomatoes, which Mark says is one of his favorite movies. George Clooney is in the movie.
-In a "Third Watch" 2nd season episode "Jimmy's Mountain", FDNY Paramedic
Kim Zambrano (Kim Raver) refers to FDNY Firefighter Alexandra Taylor (Amy
Carlson) as an "ER" fan. Evidently both would be in the crossover episode
in April 2002. In the next scene, NYPD Officer Faith Yokas's (Molly Price)
Daughter Emily (back then it was PJ Morrison) watches an interview on TV
with George Clooney.
-Michael Beach and Coby Bell would not be the only ones to have different
roles on the 2 series. Lisa Vidal, who plays Sandy Lopez, was Dr. Sarah
Morales on "Third Watch".
